More New Stamps

Having had a bumper bundle of stamps from Stampin' Up I have been itching to have a go with all of them. Today was the turn of Loads of Love.
I used my Neighbourhood stamp wheel to make the street scene for the truck to drive by and as these new stamps are two step stamps, I needed my Lego stamp positioner in order to get the lady to sit in the cab and the presents to fit into the back of the truck. You can see how I use it here.
Having coloured the houses in neutral colours I decided to keep on with that theme for the truck itself.
I am delighted to have just received an email from Sharon at the Stamp Simply Blog inviting me to be a Guest Designer for the next two weeks. It's one thing to apply to become a member of a DT, but it's quite another to be INVITED! I am enormously flattered.

  4. Congratulations Chrissie, a very well deserved invitation if you ask me. I notice that you use the stamp wheels often on your cards. That is something that I have not come across before. I need to check them out I think. Are they just from stamping up, or are there different brands?

  29. Wow - love this card and the row of houses - i'd never guess that it was made using a stamp wheel.

There is no wonder you've been asked to be a GD - you are a very talented card maker - all those who visit your blog can clearly see that anyway. Well done.
