Jolly Holly

Here is another Christmas card to add to my gradually increasing stash. This year I'm determined to be more prepared when December arrives. For this one I used a stamp from Penny Black and a sentiment from Happy Little Stampers. The image was heat embossed in gold and coloured with alcohol pens and given a little coat of gold Wink of Stella to add a little shine.
It's for the challenge at Addicted to CAS.
I recently bought a new car... it wasn't quite what I expected in that I was told there would be all sorts of extra features which didn't appear when the car was delivered. However, the company has tried to make up for the fact that I was disappointed and that they were at fault over the transaction.
I have got a very good deal and they have arranged for a few extras to be included in the purchase price.
Here it is outside the dealership!
As it is an automatic, the knee which has been giving me pain for months is really happy!

Inkspirational Guest Designer

I was lucky enough to be a top pick in a challenge at Inkspirational and was invited to be Guest Designer for them.  What fun!
Here is the inspirational pic for this challenge!
I made a card using Lawn Fawn's fun Reveal Wheel dies. I cut out the front plate of the card, extending the depth a little in order to fit a British sized card. This is easy to do by partially cutting from one end, lifting the die and placing it a little lower down the card, turning the die and card round and partially cutting from the other end.
Here is a video I made extending a sentiment die but the principle is similar for extending the length of the Lawn Fawn die.

I coloured the wheel part with Gelatos in yummy Ice cream colours, and stamped the sentiment and tiny hearts from the Lawn Fawn complementary set of stamps.

Here is another card I made, this time using stamps from Altenew. I added a simple 'Sprinkles' dry embossed backdrop from Creative Embossing. The sentiment is from WPlus 9.
It's always a thrill to be asked to Guest Design for a challenge and I would like to thank Inkspirational enormously for this opportunity!

Baby

Whilst wandering through Blogland I spotted a card made by someone using a large die of the word 'baby'. I thought it was great but was impatient to do something similar, so I made this with my Silhouette. I arranged the letters in a random way and then welded them together. I cut it out about three times and layered them to add a little extra dimension. The balloon die is from Paper Smooches and the string was cut from a needle and thread die by Memory Box. I find this thread really useful, but I've yet to use the needle die! The embossed panel is from a Cuttlebug folder.
It's for the masculine challenge from Addicted to CAS... blue for a boy... right?

This afternoon we're going to Worthing for the birthday tea for my youngest grandchild Cleo who is two. She's an absolute cutie!
Here she is on the play equipment we and her mummy and daddy bought for her birthday. I'm really proud of my son for assembling this without any assistance and all in one day! This picture was taken before he had completed all the bits and bobs on this equipment but  Cleo was quite anxious to get playing!
Happy Birthday Cleo!

Sparkly Christmas

Here is a beautiful snowflake stamp from Happy Little Stampers. I embossed it with Heat it Up, Snowflake Tinsel EP on black card. I made an edging strip using a Pierced Pennant die from MFT and used a matching rectangular die for the sentiment, which came from the same stamp set as the snowflake. I then scattered a few tiny tiny sequins in the spaces and Hey Presto... all done.

This is the theme ths time at Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge

Acrylic Pour with die cuts

It's time for another CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers!
This time as you can see from the logo it's to use die-cuts.This is one of my favourite techniques and  I also tried to incorporate some acrylic pouring technique for the background. I'm afraid that I'm not as good as Kylie at this, I think I need a few lessons and certainly a lot more practice!
Anyway, I put the coloured card behind a Memory Box (or is it Poppy Stamps) die cut of butterflies and simply added a die cut sentiment from Penny Black.
