WOYWW

Good morning and a Happy WOYWW to you all!
I had a parcel waiting for me when I returned from a few days away last week.
It was the three ribbon racks you see at the back of this shelf. It wasn't until I came to fill them that I realised I had far more ribbons than I thought. There are still some reels in the green trays and yet more odds and ends in drawers... but I'm pleased nevertheless.
Having focused on my ribbons I made this piece of ribbon weaving. You can see the finished card here. I actually made this yesterday.
I was in Shropshire for a mini break last week followed by my school reunion in North Staffordshire. I discovered too late, that I was only 10 miles away from Wipso and so missed out on a cuppa with her, which was a real shame... but I did get to see Ikki again which was wonderful. We could have chatted and looked at crafty things all day. I'm sure you'd all join me in wishing her husband Dave a speedy recovery after his recent operation.
Finally, another indulgence on my part... I treated myself to these fab stamp sets from Darkroom Door. I think you'll be seeing a lot of evidence of these babies in the future.
DO hop over to Julia's (the link is on my sidebar) and have a snoop at the world's workdesks with us!

  27. Love the DRD stamps. I've had a go at the ribbon weaving but always seem to get the tension wrong and end up with a knot or it falls apart! Pam (21)

  29. I am impressed by all your ribbon. I think you have more than I have, and I thought I had a lot. Of course, it's because I never use ribbon, but still keep buying it, mostly at the second hand store. And ribbon storage is something I always struggle with. I sure like your solution. Glad you like the bigger photos. Thanks for stopping by early today.
