It is so kind of her to give me this award, I am supposed to tell you 8 things about myself, but as I was lucky enough to receive this award a short time ago, I'll refer you to the things I wrote about myself here.
Thank you SO much again Elizabeth!

Blog award
I just arrived home from a weekend at my son's in Bury St Edmunds to look on my blog and see that Sylvie in Gibraltar had sent me this lovely award. I really appreciate her kindness to think of me and if you paid her blog a visit, I think that you'd be really glad you did, as she makes really fabulous cards. In turn I need to name three things that I like about myself and then pass this award on to 7 other bloggers, both difficult! The choice of recipients is huge as there are so many wonderful friends to choose from.
I may have to think about the three things for a while, but here are the seven!
Thank you all so much for your visits and the wonderful comments which you leave on my blog.

Idyll Hours Award

I must say was delighted to have received this award from June today. She has such a wonderful blog and her work is simply fab. Do take a look.
I have to admit to misreading the title as at first I thought it said idyl hours, meaning not doing much (with a slightly strange spelling), but then realised that there was a double letter which changed the whole meaing of the phrase altogether. I do spend many idyll hours at my craft desk I must say.
Now I need to list 5 things I like and pass the award on to 5 more bloggers.
1. Sunny days.
2. The company of family and friends.
3. New shoes.
4. My first cup of fresh black coffee each morning.
5. Listening to Morten Lauridsen's Magnum Mysterium, it sends shivers down my back it's so beautiful.
My list of five bloggers to whom I would like to pass this award is
Victoria, Eileen, Jackie, Jenny and Glenna
Great bloggers every one!

Awards A-plenty!

From Victoria & June

From June
What a lucky Blogger!
I am so privileged to have been given these awards by my wonderful blogging friends June & Victoria.
What is it about meeting people via our blogs that makes them seem to be such TRUE friends? Maybe it's a shared interest... or some sort of empathy... I know not, but I truly feel that these wonderful ladies are friends in the truest sense, and I thank them wholeheartedly for thinking of me in passing on these awards.
In turn I would like to perpetuate the compliment and send them on to Sherry, Eileen, Jackie, Julia, Victoria and Michelle.
Thank you ladies!

An Award from Shari

What a wonderful surprise to receive this great award from Shari.
This award means that your blog is condsidered to be a jewel. I've always been partial to jewels and it's great to think that Shari considers my blog to be in the same category.

Lucky Me! Karma Award

It always gives me a very warm feeling when someone decides to honour me by giving an award. This time it is June who has been so kind. Thank you so much June, I really appreciate you thinking of me!
The wording for this award is as follows:-
The Karma Award: These blogs are exceedingly charming.
These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends.
They are not interested in self-aggrandizement.
Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers.
Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.
I now need to pass this award on to 8 more bloggers. Quite a difficult job when there are so many wonderful bloggers out there. However, these are my choices.
Diana, Nancy, Victoria, Susie, Ikki, Karen, Christina and Julie.

Friends Award

I got home from singing evensong in Chichester Cathedral this evening, to see that Teresa had left me this lovely award. At one time we thought that she would be our sister in SBS22, but somehow (sadly for us) she found herself part of SBS23. She is SO good at dropping by our Blogs and leaving kind, encouraging words. Thank you so much for that Teresa, and thank you for this award.
The thoughts behind this award are that my blog is

So now I must pass it on to some other blogging friends.
I would like to nominate Leslie fairly new to Blogging, but she and I have often visited each other's blogs since entering into the same challenge some weeks ago. I would also like to pass it on to Norma in Canada, who has had to move out of her home for several weeks whilst repairs were carried out following flooding from burst pipes. Another of my SBS22 sisters, who still frequently visits my Blog is Gwen. Thank you Gwen, this award is for you too.
Finally, although she's already weighed down with awards at the moment I MUST pass it on to Ikki, a really great blogging buddy.
Thank you ladies all!
