The challenge at Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge this month is to stamp with an embossing folder.
I have used this technique quite a few times but this time I wanted to go for more of a watercolour effect.
I used Cuttlebug's Dotty Stems folder and inked it with Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon inks using Sponge daubers to add the ink. I then spritzed this with Shimmer Mist in a champagne shade, then used the folder to stamp the background. I did not close it or emboss the image. You can just see the tiny blooms amongst the watery background.
I stamped a few butterflies and the tiny script stamp from the HLS Thinking of you set over this, using Encore Gold ink, then stamped and embossed the main sentiment, cutting both panels with MFT pierced rectangles.
