Lots of clutter and a just finished card in my 'photographic studio'. You can see how the picture turned out a couple of posts below, just click on my blog header to see my complete blog!
This lot is in desperate need of a tidy up and I promise I will before embarking on any other projects. I haven't made any New Year's Resolutions this year, but maybe I should have!
Last week we were in Bath with my daughter and her family for Christmas and so missed out on my trip around the worksdesks of the world, but hope to get around quite a few this week, hoping for ideas!
Check out Julia's blog for your links to snoopdom!
There's a permanent link on my sidebar!
Looks like it will be a pretty easy clean up to ME! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI'm #9 on the list this week. Stop by when you get a chance for a visit.
Is that a little mini photo booth you have there? Pretty good idea! Happy WOYWW! #7
ReplyDeleteI think it looks worse to you than to the rest of us. Or maybe it's because that photo studio is taking up so much space. And it was fun seeing the banner (bunting), too. I fell asleep, so I'm number 16 this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm liking the photo studio, seems a tad better that my propped up piece of patterned paper!
ReplyDeleteLove your bunting :-)

Great "studio". Lucky you, being in Bath for Christmas - gorgeous place!
ReplyDelete#13 today.
Well lesson learned - I never knew about clickin' on the blog header to get the whole blog - props 2 U! Off to a great start on the 2011 thing I'd say. You have an entire year left to make a resolution!
ReplyDeleteNeat little photography studio. Something I will have to try. I cracked the top 20 this week.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant studio idea. I'm not doing Resolutions - far better to do 'hopes and wishes' - easier to keep I think! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea for the studio - I can see a new purpose for one of the boxes currently in our recycling pile!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll soon be tidy again,

I thought at first glance that your photo booth was a seat on your WOYWW!! Must wake up a bit more. That's something I really must get together as I always faff about taking pics. Love the bunting...

Love your photo studio. My hubby set us up with two hinged boards so we can stand them up and drape them to use as a photo studio...it really helps doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Chrissie.

Don't think you need to tidy just yet, coz if you move your lightbox you'll have a nice little space to craft LOL

Hi Chrissie,
ReplyDeleteRe our move....We are looking along the South Coast left or right of Brighton where DD1 lives. I like Seaford as it has good transport links.

Happy new year to you Chrissie.
ReplyDeleteWow I love the photo booth.
Trouble is, if I do one, it will end up being a spray box for all manner of spray and splatter stuff...! I must at least try it and try to be good with it though xx
Happy New Year! love your bunting! thanks for sharing. No. 28.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! The "Just for you" card is perfect.

ReplyDeleteoooeerrrr its not everyone who has their own photographic studio LOL
ReplyDeleteHow are you getting on with your yellow monster then? And I love that you have strata of stash on the desk, I feel so at home - but I guess it's temporary for you!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year. Love your little photo studio. I use the floor! Kathleen x
ReplyDeleteI see you are branching out into black backgrounds now! Love the card in the booth.
ReplyDeleteLinbyx
I too use this method of taking pictures. I just use white...hmm maybe I need to think about some color or even black!
ReplyDeleteThe card being photographed is lovely and the photography *studio* set-up is great ~ I must do something similar 'cause I don't get much bright light in my craft room naturally and this would be ideal :o)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for 2011 ....
ooh - a great new photographic studio Chrissie - what happened to the 'light tent' you bought - didn't it work very well? is this better? I suppose i'd better check your other posts out and see!!!
ReplyDeletePaula x x x
Hi Me again. Thanks for visiting me. Yes I used peel-offs. Kathleen x
ReplyDeleteHad to come back to answer your question - yes, I saved the original WOYWW logo from Julia's blog and printed it - resized it by guesswork and used it to cover a utensil jar for my WOYWWAC last year.
ReplyDeletesorry I made your head spin - I just needed to jig along to the music, love the card and the 'studio'
ReplyDeleteFAb busy desk. Hugs Pam x
ReplyDeleteGreat Photo Chrissie, I often like to see how others take their pics of cards as mine are usually pants! lol. Joey x
ReplyDeleteYes but if you leave the photo studio on your desk it hides most of the mess!!

Ooh that card looks lovely (and what a great idea to have an area set up as a "studio" in which to photograph your creations!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like Stampin' Up! stamps you've used for the flower on the card?

The jury is still out on the mini sewing machine I've only used it 3 times the 1st time I thought it was great but the next 2 attempts were rubbish, bit disappointed as sewing is my frst love and have been using machines for over 30 years (just haven't anywhere to keep by full size machine out all the time). I will keep perservering until I throw it out the window its just very hard to control as it has ones speed "super fast". Hugs Pam x
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks very tidy to me! If mine looked like that I would be very happy.
ReplyDeleteYour card in the booth is beautiful, I did as I was told and had a closer look. Love the photo booth and the results you get are stunning. I may have to rig myself up something similar, I always find photoing stuff so difficult.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
Hugs Lisa (108)
I'm thinking about doing some black backgrounds for my (hem hem) photo studio...((pillow case or table cloth over my printer and stuck to the wall!)) I think I'd like black, seen some nice cards with black backgrounds...Happy New year!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW
((Lyn))
Ohhh, so that is how you get fab pics. Love the cards.
ReplyDeleteSandra #66

ReplyDeleteSue xx 50
I don’t think your desk is untidy Chrissie, after all, when you move your photo studio you all have a big clear gap!
ReplyDeleteLove the card by the way.
Happy New Year

ReplyDeleteDebbie #129
What a great idea for photographing your cards. I also like your pens and tool storage, another cool idea.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for photograghing your cards I just prop up two bits of black or white card - hmm might have to have a go at making something like this - thats for the inspiration ~ Nicky 124
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab idea to make a mini studio! My pics always turn out a bit so-so because I just try to take them near a window, lol! But I see how great yours have turned out and I may have to follow your example!
