WOYWW #?

Doesn't look much like my desk, which is probably because it isn't my desk.. it's the pile of things at the ready for me to throw into my car and head off to Bath when I get the call to say that my daughter has gone into labour. She is due to have her second baby on 29th, but she feels that it will be sooner, and I am delegated to look after my granddaughter
What you can see is the new 'travel system' (apparently they're not prams anymore) which we have bought for them. They needed a double buggy and chose a Phil & Ted model, so that's what Mr John Lewis delivered to us. She's a little superstitious about having the pram in the house before the birth, which is why we bought it and had it delivered here.
The pink overnight bag is waiting for me to pop in my laptop and head off. The perfume is a little gift for my daughter after she has delivered... I hope it will make her feel good.
Just to look a little crafty, here is the stash which I found on the doorstep when we got home from choir last night. I don't know when it was delivered but I'll be having a play later!
Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground if you'd like to snoop at the workspaces of the world. There's a permanent link on my sidebar... and enjoy!

  5. Morning Chrissie, Wow going to be another addition to your family. Hope all goes well. Your daughter is like me I had my pram at my mothers too. Lovely new stash. Have fun looking after your grandchild. Hugs JO.xxx**19**

  6. I guess a "pram" is either a baby carrier or a car carrier. See how different English is from British (GRIN)? If it happens before next week, congrats to the new mom and Grandmother. I can tell how excited you are. And of course your stash looks like Tim!

  8. Thanks for the lesson on "pram," Chrissie. Now I get it. We called them baby carriages, which, like you said was replaced by strollers.

As for rocking horses, I have about 450, so I can go many, many weeks before you ever see them all. Thanks so much for your sweet comment.

  12. aw so fab that you're so organised ready for Libs' big day. Choosing a double buggie for us was more difficult that choosing a car - we're almost at the stage where we can sell it now as Zac is wanting to walk everywhere rather than be pushed (yey!).

Looking forward to hearing if you have a grandson or a grandaughter this time around

    Love

  19. A Phil and Ted do not come cheaply I think that is why they are now called a travel system (have to justify that price tag). All the best looking after your granddaughter and the new little one. Great to see you got your Darkroom Door stamps. Looking forward to seeing what you create.

  48. Another grandchild, how lovely. Hope everything goes as planned for your daughter - she will certainly appreciate that perfume once it is all over. A 'travel system' is it now, it was still a pram when I bought my first in Germany almost 42 years ago! Isn't great when the postman brings such great craft items - those stamps are brilliant.
