If you hop over to the Challenge at "Less is More" this week you will see that the recipe you have to follow today is to choose one of the squares from the diagram in which to place your image.
I have chosen the bottom left, as you can see. The image may overflow slightly but it must be obvious which is the chosen square.
This card uses a technique whereby the stamp is inked and then tapped with a marker in a contrasting colour, before being stamped onto the card. I used a SU Baja Blue inkpad and a grey Docrafts marker. I did just huff on the stamp a time or two before stamping to ensure that the first colour hadn't dried out too much whilst I was adding the second colour.
I rather like the mottled effect.
I added the sentiment to which I had given the a similar treatment, positioning it with my Lego Corner and acetate. (There's a tutorial on the "Less is More" Blog for this).
With just a touch of Glamour Dust added to the blossoms the card was complete.
This card uses the same portion of the card as the first one, but SU's Sail Away was simply stamped with Midnight Blue Stazon and sponged with SU Bashful Blue and Baja Breeze inks, having previously masked the sails. The small sentiment from Silhouette Sentiments was added using the same method as above.
I do hope you'll join in the fun with all the other LIMettes at "Less is More" this week... which square will you pick?
