Here is a simple one layer card which I made for the challenge at The Paper Players

It's an image from Art Impressions, simply shaded with some watercolour pencils and blended with a water brush!
The sentiment was generated on the computer.
In order to get it positioned just where I wanted it, I popped the two parts of the sentiment into text boxes and  stamped an image of the cat onto a piece of copy paper.
I have my Word programme set to 105%  which makes the visible image on my screen exactly the size of a piece of A4 paper. I held the stamped image in front of my screen, and moved the text boxes around until I was satisfied with their location.  It's easy to see through the copy paper with the light of the screen behind it! Once the outlines of the text boxes were removed I printed the card and then cut it to size. With the help of my Stamp Easy I stamped the cat and coloured him!

  1. Chrissie I am more a dog person than cat lover, but must confess your card made me laugh out loud - that image is priceless! Such a great example of how a well-chosen image and sentiment can make the perfect CAS card - nothing else required! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!

  2. Wow, your card is fabulous! I would never be able to do all that word positioning via my computer--you must be a tech genius! Anyway, this image is cute and fun and it gave me a giggle this morning, I love it! Thanks for playing with my challenge this week at the Paper Players!

  3. I almost spit out my tea! This card perfectly captures the feline attitude! How clever to custom make your sentiment. Thank you for telling us how you did it. I love the font you chose.

  4. This is so cute and funny. Love that cat.

  5. Yep it's so exhausting being a cat. Love the whole vibe of the card. Thanks for joining us this month at AAA Birthday.

  6. Chrissie, this made me LOL! I love that kitty and that puny sentiment! CAS perfection! So happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week!

  8. Oh what fun! But isn't that exactly how cats behave and probably think. Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!
