Snowman

Yet another clean and simple card, this time a little snowman from Hampton Art Stamps. It is coloured with Copics and mounted on a Cuttlebug embossed square, with a very simple greeting added.
When I  went to the NEC last week I bought something very fundamental... a set of Spellbinders small square dies, to complement the large ones which were probably my first Nestie purchase... now I wonder how I did without them for all this time.
I don't think I understood all the descriptions... large, small, petite, classic, big, mega, grand, standard.... you need an O level in understanding the descriptive terms!

  1. Oh I was exactly the same when I bought my first nesties and got a bit bamboozled [I think] as I was old, don't make much difference whether small or large, BUT , of course does when you are trying to layer one scallop into plan etc!
FAB card love the embossed details on teh white background

  7. this is a fun card Chrissie - I love your description of nesties... I am the same and used to think - what does it matter whether i have small, large blah blah. I recenty bought a set of four square and scalloped nesties from USA (bargain), and used them for the first time on my hanger project. I then thought "why on earth have I been trying to measure up and cut striaght, then layer up using the guillotine" Mad!!! Defo the way to go for matting any layering.
