Days 128 & 129 of 365 Cards + what I was doing yesterday!

Yesterday our granddaughter Daisy had a fever and so my husband rushed down to Bath to look after her as I had a doctor's appointment. He was delighted to be able to help, but said that multi-tasking is outside his range of abilities... he isn't a woman of course, which probably explains things!
Daisy is much better today which is a relief. It was bound to happen just as her mum returns to work following maternity leave.
I did manage to get some cardmaking done... mainly a commission for 30, 60th birthday invitatons -plus reply cards. Trying to keep my Nestie twin embossing aligned was my biggest bugbear, but fortunately all went well.
The other 2 cards are yesterday's 365 card which was this recipe
1 5x5 Card
1 Rub-on image
2 Buttons
1 Piece of patterned paper
1 piece of ribbon - NO BOW
1 Sentiment inside the card

...and today's, where the image had to be stitched. Not all of the image is sewn, but hopefully enough to count. I used to do curved stitching with my 6 and 7 year olds at school. They used to love it!The boat is made from part of a Cuttlebug tag and the mast another part of a larger diecut. The sentiment is Penny Black.
