Look what the postman brought me!

I've been really lucky recently to have won a couple of challenges and these are the goodies which the postman has just delivered.
The considerable array of embellishments from the One Stop Crafts Challenge was my prize for their Numbers challenge. I was amazed at the amount and the variety... I may have to share some with my bloggy friends. This was my entry. Thank you SO much One Stop Crafts!

The dear little fox stamp was my prize from the Dutch Dare Colour Inspiration Challenge. Thank you everyone at Dutch Dare. This was my card.
What a lucky blogger!

Daring Cardmakers - Blue & Green & Dutch Dare - Sketch

A friend asked to make a thank you card for her son's teacher, large enough for several little boys to sign. The recipient is also a music teacher, hence the line of manuscript in the background.
I used the sketch from the Dutch Dare challenge and the colours from Daring Cardmakers, which I thought were rather suitable for little boys to send.
It's mainly Cuttlebug, with Nesties used for the circles. The papers are Shabby Pincess and Canon.
Lots of fiddling about with a paper piercer, lifting off the double-sided backing after cutting out the letters, but I got there in the end.
I hope she likes it.

Our Creative Corner - Sketch & Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Embossing

A card for my daughter's friend.
She wanted Black & White and Shoes... and this is what I came up with.
I seem to be finding more and more reasons to use this fabulous digi stamp from Chris Dark. I am totally in awe of her talent.
The sketch is based on Our Creative Corner's this week and as the white panel is embossed with Cuttlebug stylised flowers, it qualifies for the challenge at Dare U2 Digi stamp too. The lettering is Cuttlebug's Typewriter alphabet and the dotty background is from Clare Curd's Signature Range.
This was a really pleasing card to make.

365 Cards Days 123 & 124 Abc Challenge U & Mojo Monday

I had a tummy bug yesterday and stayed in bed all day feeling lousy. I'm happy to report that it was only a 24 hour malady and today I'm feeling much better. However, as no cards were attempted, I have a bit of catching up to do today.
This sketch from Mojo Monday I have used to combine with Day 124 of 365 Cards, where something should be computer generated. I word-processed the sentiment for this card, which reads, 'If friends were flowers... I'd pick you.' I just love this flowery stamp which was sent to me as a freebie with an order from an eBayer in the USA. How kind was that!!! I love it.

I have combined Day 123 0f 365 Cards with the ABC Challenge U for United States. I thought that it might do for a Bon Voyage card for any friends visiting the US or for friends over there as they celebrate the 4th July. The challenge was to use the sketch leaving the whole of the centre section completely as 'White space'. I quite like lots of white on cards so I was happy with the idea.
I downloaded the 'USA' font as I didn't have any suitable Americana!
I now really must get on with some Christening invitations and some 60th Birthday party invites & reply cards. Hey Ho!
