Clean and Simple 158

I've been kinda busy commenting on entries to "Less is More" since yesterday, as we are trying for 1000 submissions to our CAS challenge, since we now have over 1000 followers. LIMettes are trying really hard, I must say.
I took a quick break to make a card and this is what transpired, following the sketch from Clean and Simple 158.
The house is cut from a series stamped with my Stampin' Up wheel and coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment is a clear stamp from Studio G. The embossing is from the Lattice folder from Creative Expressions.

  1. What a stunning card - would love to know how you did the criss/cross embossing? Is it a folder?

  2. The embossing on the bottom is awesome!

  3. I love the little houses on that wheel and this one is my favourite (probably because I live in a narrow 3-story house.) The embossing looks like paving and goes beautifully with the house theme. Vx

  4. Oh this is super Chrissie that image, sentiment and the embossing look great. Wow you will be kept very bust with the commenting at that rate, lol.

  8. Super new home card and would be great for a male. I've still to have a shot of this wheel must rectify that soon!

Don't know how you are managing to keep up with all the LIM entries, I'm falling behind! Good Luck. x

  12. Love that embossing folder and the fact that only some of the card is embossed! Great house, painting and the rounded corners are perfect!

  13. Lovely embossing Chrissie.
The sentiment stamp I used is by PB and I got mine from Handy Hippo.
Just checked and it is out of stock at the moment.

  14. The lattice embossing is fabulous and I love the little house! I'm suprised you have time to make any cards at all this week Chrissie - your 'puter keyboard must be red-hot!!
Here's hoping you reach the 1,000 - I'm totally sure you will.

  17. Awesome card! Love the embossing and colour palette!

  18. Great card Chrissie. What a good idea to use the image from your stamping wheel - another way of getting use out of it. Lovely embossing folder too. Sue.x

  19. I like this one - the texture and image work so well together!

Thank you so much for popping by, I appreciate your comments!
