Less is More - Use Ink!

Saturday once more and time for another challenge from "Less is More"!
This time it's to Use Ink!
It sounds easy enough, but we'd like people to maybe try something a little different, new or merely a technique that is a favourite.

This is one of my favourite techniques... a sponged background and a stamped scene.
The stamps are from Indigo Blu.
This one consists of a simple square stamped directly with a Distress ink pad and then overstamped with a two step stamp from Stampin' Up. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the whole card was spritzed with a little shimmer ink.
DO join in the fun this week and let us see what you can produce when you get a little inky!
This last one was made with an acrylic block, stamped with Distress Inks then spritzed with water before being stamped onto the card. The Personal Impressions  image was then stamped over the top and the Hero Arts sentiment stamped beneath. Quick and easy!

  8. Hi Chrissie,
This is a gorgeous landscape, just love the colour. I always contain my stamps inside the 'box' and must try let the image out into the blank space, it gives it a much more arty look.
