Just Experimenting

I saw this Hero Arts stamp on their website and just loved it. I used it on a card a few post back and I'm still trying to see what I can do with it.
For the lilac card, I stamped it with three colours of Brilliance ink and embossed it with a powder called Crystal Sparkle. I quite like this effect. I think I should have used daubers to do this as I did messed up the stamps a little when overlapping the ink.
For the larger card, on which I dry embossed the square with one of my Nesties, I inked the stamp with the deepish red/brown inkpad from the Laurence Llewelyn Bowen Venaissance collection., and embossed it with enchanted gold.
I think that this stamp must have endless possibilities.
Any ideas?

  3. Lovely cards Chrissie. How about pearl ex, or kissing the inked image against another patterned (un-inked) to give a shadow of something..text perhaps..across the original iamge before stamping..yum. looks like you'll be having fun!

  5. beautiful cards and fab stamp. How about using it on shrink plastic so you get different sized images on one card? Or using it to make some gift tags and matching bags or boxes? You could over stamp a sentiment in a darker colour or something too.
