The Pink Elephant - Stars & Strips & Creative Card Crew - Ribbons

Just a quick one using a sketch from Card Patterns.
The stars may be tricky to spot as they are on the Butterfly's wings. The strips are a little more obvious!
The stamps are from Unity Stamps and even some of the tiny letters in the 'of you' words have stripes on them!
Three pieces of ribbon too, so Ceative Card Crew's Challenge this week is also met!
I like uncluttered!

365 Cards Days 131, 132 & 133 + 4 other challenges!!!

Having had my day on Thursday babysitting my granddaughter in Bath, I find that the challenges from 365 seem to pile up on me! Yesterday we had the downstairs carpets cleaned, so what with furniture moving and so on, not a lot of cardmaking was done, so here is a catch up.Today's theme for 365 Cards is Bubbles. Here's my interpretation.
Penny Black Image and Cuttlebug embossing with a Hero Arts Sentiment.

Day 132 of 365 Cards was a picture inspiration... guess what? You got it... a birthday cake and here's mine.

This card was originally begun as the Day 131 Ad Inspired card from 365 Cards, where I took the red polka dot motif from the child's robe as my inspiration.
From there it went on to be the 'Russian' theme from Daring Cardmakers.
The sketch was taken from Friday Sketchers.
The sentiment, which I think fits the idea of a Russian doll perfectly, is from Penny Black, who also requested swirls. These are from a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
Creative Inspirations asked for 'gems and pearls'.
I make that 5 Challenges.
Caught up!

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Pink, Black & White

Another simple card!
Beautiful daisies from Chris Dark's Digi Stamp range, gently coloured and simply mounted.
Sentiment reading 'embrace each moment' from Unity Stamps, and lacy border from Fiskars.

Card Patterns Sketch

This is very literal take on this week's sketch over at Card Patterns.
I just received this butterfly stamp this morning as part of a shipment from Unity Stamps. There's a whole set of butterfly images and I can't wait to get stamping with them all. Some of the stamps from the June Kit are simply wonderful, but I've got to go over to the Isle of Wight for a rehearsal tonight and tomorrow I'm going to Bath to babysit Daisy, so it'll be Friday before I can start playing! Aargh!
Quickutz flourishes, Fiskars border punch, Unity image and sentiment.
