Dum di Da Da Dee Dee...

This giveaway is now closed. I'll be posting the winner later today!
Dum di Da Da Dee Dee... Dum di Da Da Dee Dee...
Do you recognise this tune?
It's my 65th birthday today (Monday 26th July), so I thought I would give away a few bits and bobs.
Here we have:-
Papermania Ornate Punch
Papermania Clear Christmas Stamp Set
Papermania 3 Pack Pigment Stamp Pads
Cuttlebug Bow frame Embossing Folder
Cuttlebug 2, 2x6 Onamental Dies
3 Sheets of Anita's Christmas Peel Offs
Pot of Red Glitter
If you fancy a chance of receiving this little lot in celebration of my birthday, just leave a comment below. I'll get someone to draw a name out of the hat on Saturday 7th August.
If you would like to spread the word, that would be lovely, but there's no obligation.
To those who have sent birthday greetings and good wishes, thank you so much.
Have lovely day... I intend to!
PS
Lots of people have been very flattering about my profile photo, saying that I don't look my age. Well, that was a professional job, intended to flatter. This one was taken recently in Spain, just a bog standard holiday snap, with no make-up, no soft focus, no air brushing. I think you'll agree that I look rather nearer to my years here!

Summer fun

This is my card for this week's challenge at One Stop Cards and Crafts Challenge. I actually used the sketch which was current at Papertake at the time I made it, as I love the comparative simplicity of it, but of course it's too late for that challenge now!
Our theme this week is Summer fun and this image from Meljen's Designs is perfect! Do come along and join in with our challenge!
The digi papers are from Fred she said and Cuddly Buddly. The sentiment is Hero Arts and the colouring was done with Copics.
It's also for the ABC Challenge... A - August
I'm still struggling with taking pictures of my cards and haven't really sussed the lighting for my light tent. This looks a bit washed out! Maybe the light should be further away!

My new background stamp

My parcel of Stampin' Up goodies arrived today and I couldn't resist having a play. This card, just kind of happened and I have to admit it's my kind of thing!
My new stamp here is the friends background stamp.
I'd stamped the flower image from Unity Stamps some time ago and so used the same colour for the background ... Mellow Moss from Stampin' Up.
I bought about 20yds of cheap white grosgrain ribbon on eBay and have been using it, coloured with Copics, to match my cards. I think it's really quite successful. I used the same Copic pen BG93 to colour the edges of the mounting layers and the Cuttlebug corners.
It's for these challenges.
Alphabet Challenge N - Nature, a flower and the colour green.
Penny's Challenges - Anything Goes
My Grafico - Vintage
My package today also contained some more surprise stamps... my birthday present from Victoria, wonderful, thank you Victoria.

Boxed Wedding Card

My friend asked me to make a card for her daughter's upcoming wedding. She had seen the Silver wedding card which I made recently and asked for something similar in ivory with burgundy accents.
This is what I came up with. It includes the couple's names and the date of the wedding. You can see the beginnings of the construction process here on WOYWW. It's just the post beneath this one.
I twinkled the burgundy paper with Spray & Sparkle, before punching and die-cutting.
The embossing is with a Cuttlebug Hearts folder and the punching is Woodware and Nellie Snellen.
As the bow and the embellishments made the card rather fat, I made a box for it too which I decorated with a small version of the heart, together with the couple's initials.
I'm entering it into the Wild Wedding Challenge at Just Us Girls and the Wedding or Anniversary Challenge at Crafty Creations.
I hope they have a wonderful day!
