Inspiration

There are a few crafters whose work never fails to inspire me. One such of these is Heather Telford. Not only is she inspirational but she is always more than willing to share her expertise with others.
The other day I saw one of her cards which just made me itch to have a try at something similar!
Gold Snowflakes Heather Telford
Mine is not a direct copy but I tried a similar technique, using similar stamps and colours. Long may your inspiration continue Heather... and thank you!

  3. It turned out a stunning card and I also am a fan of Heather's work. I love the way we can get inspired by each other and especially by some really fantastic designers who let us play around with their designs. I'd like to thank all of them (including you!)!

  7. Gorgeous card Chrissie ... love how you've used Heather's technique, but made it your own with your addition of colours to the snowflake designs and a gold die-cut. LOVE the label you've used for the sentiment. Everything about this card is perfect! Just waiting for my latest order from Simon Says to arrive which includes gold embossing powder. Will definitely be CASE'ing this beauty! Loll xx

  9. Hi Chrissie,
I am glad you had fun with this technique. The gold and blue, although unusual for snowflakes. is so very pretty. I love your take on the same theme and thank you for your kind words.
