Made in Moments

I thought that I would make a card for the challenge at AAA Cards.
I didn't exactly time myself making this, but it was quite quick. It would have been slightly quicker if I had stuck to my original idea of using a die cut for the sentiment, but once cut, I realised that it was way too big for the composition. SO back to the drawing board and a quick computer generated sentiment tailored to the die I wanted to use to mount it.
I make my computer sentiments in Word and if I set the zoom to 105%, the size I see on my screen is the exact size of a sheet of A4. SO if I write the sentiment, hold the die I want to use against the screen, I can see if it will create the effect I'm after. The size I see, is the size it will be printed.
Just Us Girls - Summer

  1. That's lovely - so simple yet so complete. A real breath of summer.

  2. Very sweet... What card stock did you use? I love the texture.

  3. wish that cardstock was available in the US, it's fabulous!

  4. Fabulously happy card Chrissie. Thanks so much for playing at AAA Cards, hope to see you join in with future challenges too.

  5. Love your CAS sunshine card Chrissie! So happy you joined us at Just Us Girls this week!

  6. Great idea on the computer generate sentiment! I bought a tag set for my Silhouette so I can create tags any size based on the sentiment I want to use... same but opposite! Your card says summer for sure! Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!

  7. Gloriously clean Chrissie, and I love that you used a textured card base.

  8. CAS-loving heart captured by your sun and clouds! And that texture....yummy! A gem in the JUGS gallery!

Thank you so much for popping by, I appreciate your comments!
