Mother's Day

I came across this stamp in my drawer, which I haven't used for about a year or so and thought it about time to use it again.

I began by colouring it with distress inks, but the colours I had didn't give me the depth of colour that I wanted, so I ended up going over it with my Copics.

I mounted the image on Nesties and arranged the card in a simple layout. I made a tag out of Nesties by punching a couple of ribbon holes, for the computer generated sentiment.

The scallop punch at the bottom of the card is from Martha Stewart.

The papers are Pink Petticoat Rainbow collection.

Crafty Cardmakers - Tri Colour - Analogous - Green through to purple... I learned something here! (I didn't know that I would be getting an education as well as making a card!)

I have already entered a card for the Quixotic Challenges this time round, but that was for a new mum and this is for Mother's Day.
