This is evidence of my attempts at using SU pastels. I was lucky enough to win the challenge at Keep it Simple with one of my cards and this pack of pastels was my prize! How cool is that!! I hadn't really noticed them in the catalogue before and didn't really know much about them, but a few You Tube videos later, I have a little more idea. All I need now is practice! I have discovered that you can get some lovely effects by blending them.
The stamps are a new acquisition from SU too...but I bought those!

Oooh..those pastels look very interesting. I zoomed in on your picture and could see the images created very clearly. I love the softened effect. Are they hard to use?
ReplyDeleteI love the soft, blended look pastels give an image. Have you tried stamping an image in Versamark ink on a dark card stock and coloring it with cotton balls or Q-tips rubbed in the pastels? I think it's call Chalkboard Technique.
