Anniversary Greetings

On Tuesday, at my choir, I had 8 requests for bespoke cards including birthday cards for 90, 100 and 102 year old ladies. I've got to put my thinking cap on for those. I made my first card for the 102 year old when she was 99, so I've got to vary what I do somewhat. One of them has to be huge... A3 folded in half... apparently a lot of people want to sign it. I had to go out to buy card specially as I don't ever work with card that size. You'll have to watch this space to see what I come up with for those.
Two other requests were for anniversary cards and here they are for two very different couples, hence the very different styles. The first is clean and simple and for the challenge at Stars & Stamps, where the challenge is for an anniversary or love themed card with no glitter.
I used a stamp from Stampin' Up and made the sentiment on the computer.
The second, for a 15th anniversary, which I discovered is the crystal celebration, is mainly white with a hint of twinkle to represent the light refracting through fine crystal.
Here I used a Spellbinders Fleur de lis die for the  background mounting and altered the tag by adding the twiddly bits where the ribbons loops were. The sentiment was computer generated and the image is Stampin' Up.
One day left to complete clearing the loft before the men come to re-insulate. I think we may just do it... but what a lot of stuff there is in the garage to sort out, despite the many trips we have already made to the dump.

  3. Both really beautiful simple cards. With regard to the large card, I've made a couple of these for special occasions recently. I just stick two pieces of white A4 card together by making a spine with goes on the inside of the card.

  14. These are both really beautiful and elegant. I think they are both CAS really, although the all white has a few more flourishes. I think my favourite is the one with the purple. Good luck with the commissions - can't wait to see them.
