Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #40 & One Stop Craft - 'Furry'

A card for my son's birthday, which happens to fall the day after mine towards the end of the month... what a nice birthday present he was for me all those years ago!
He has just moved into his first mortgaged home and the image on the front of this card will become very familiar to him over the next few months, I imagine.
The sketch is from the Secret Crafter, the papers from Canon and the stamps are Daisy and Dandelion. As it's a furry creature, it's also for One Stop Craft's Challenge this week.
I'm sorry that the card is practically out of the picture, but I couldn't see any image clearly with the sun shining on the screen of the camera.

  4. Hi Chrissie,

regarding your Martha Stewart Doily punch question I find that it is better to punch on a solid surface rather than hold it in the air, seems to be a cleaner punch that way. I find that the strip it cuts off is what tends to get stuck and I can only suggest keeping a pair of thin nose tweezers to hand to pull it out. I don't think it's because they need sharpening rather than the strip of paper gets in the way and needs to be pulled out. It's a complete pain but worth it for the results of the punch. BTW I have no special technique for spacing, just start in the centre and hope for the best. So far it's worked out okay !!
