I'm really glad that I bought my Fiskars trimmer, as it allows me to cut sections in the centre of a piece of card, as required by this type of fold.
I had intended putting the tall section on the left, but somehow I must have scored the wrong bit of the card to start off with and it ended up on the right. However, with this orientation, the giraffe appears to be looking into the card rather than away from it, which is just as well.
The image is Meljen's and the trees are from a Unity stamp. The sentiment is stamped with an Inca stamp and mounted on Nestie Labels 4.
Now I'll have to see if I can make an envelope to fit this size of card!
I got the idea from the challenge at the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog. I hope they like it.
This is such a cute card. I hope it was as much fun to make as it looks.
