Valentine Card

I think that this little chap looks as though he would cheer anyone... and I need a little cheering at the moment. My daughter discovered at her 12 week scan on Saturday, that the baby had ceased to develop at 8 weeks and that there was no sign of a heartbeat. She has to go into hospital on Friday for a procedure, the name of which escapes me at the moment, but basically it will be the end of the pregnancy. She had a miscarriage just a few months ago so she needs a bit of luck. All I can say is thank goodness that she has her daughter to cheer her at the moment. I'll be going down to look after my granddaughter towards the end of the week.
On a brighter note, the image on this card is by Helen from Ellephantastic Cards & Crafts and you'll probably be seeing a whole lot more of him. The paper is from Forever Friends and the embossing is Cuttlebug Tiny Hearts.
It is for these challenges.

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter and her pregnancy. I had a miscarriage about where she is now and pretty much happened the same way..at my 8wk appt. Sounds like she'll be going in for a DNC. It's definitely a hard time to go through but its great that she has her daughter, as well as you to help get her through. Please give her my prayers and well wishes!

I love your card!!! And it's even sweeter to know where it's going. Your coloring is awesome!

Sorry to hear about your daughters loss. My sister had the same with her last pregnancy at the same time. She already has 2 beautiful girls which has helped her through her loss. I can also sympthasise as I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years now with a suspected 2 miscarriages although never confirmed as too early. We have been told we need IVF. Send her big Roger Bear hugs from me & tell her our thoughts are with her x
