This challenge is supposed to be 'Quick and Cute', which is the challenge this week from My Time to Craft. It certainly is cute, but it wasn't quite as quick as I thought as I decided to paper piece the horse. He just cries out for patchwork. I used 4 different papers from Cuddly Buddly's Fairy Fun range in aqua.
I sat and cut out the pieces whilst 'watching' the TV. It was actually 'listening to' the TV as I had to watch I was doing! I found the cutting out quite relaxing and I loved seeing the 'dressed' horse emerge.
The layout is very simple and I love my Fiskars Upper Crest border punch.
We are due to have our second grandchild in January, I wonder if I'll need to make a pink or a blue horse!!!
The sentiment is an old stamp I bought second hand on eBay and I love it!
Job Done!
DO join in with our challenge, we'd love to see all your Quick and Cute creations!
