Poem Inspiration

Morning has broken
Like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken
Like the first bird.
Tuesday Taggers have the challenge to be inspired by a poem this week. This beautiful Unity Stamps image made me think of these lines from a modern hymn. I don't really know what species this bird is, but it is black and it is a bit like a blackbird in silhouette.
The paper is a digi from Bits of Ivory and the sentiment is also from Unity.
Stempeltraume - Card for a man
Crafty Angels - Something Old,(stamp) Something New (DP)
I like this clean cut style of card.
My daughter and granddaughter have arrived. Tonight Daisy is sleeping in her big girl's bed (she's too big now for the travel cot) and tomorrow potty training is due to begin!!
Wish us luck! I can't remember how I did it with our kids, it was too long ago.

  4. Gosh these little ones grow up so very quickly don't they. enjoy their visit. We had our two little Granddaughters here last night and it never fails to amaze me how they alter in the few days between their visits. I could sit and watch them for hours happily :-)

  15. Absolutely stunning card, Chrissie! I lvoe the clean elegant style. Re potty training, it is 12 years ago, but we bought some pants with Winnie the pooh on them, and persuaded her that he wouldn't want to get wet!!! Thanks so much for joining us at TT this week!
