It's time for another colour challenge at
"Less is More".
"Less is More".
This time we have this fabulous Design Seeds set of shades
Here are the cards I came up with.
I spotted this image yesterday at Tiddlyinks and decided that I needed it. What a cute snowman!
He's dusted liberally with Glamour Dust and coloured with Mirage pens.
Another digi here, this time from Bugaboo. Love these festive shoes... if only I could wear heels like this!

This is a favourite stamp of mine from The Stamp Gallery. I stamped the birds then painted each one with a little Elmers Rubber Cement, as a mask. I then added the colours for the sea and sky using a torn piece of Post It note as a mask and then overstamped with a couple of SU Gorgeous Grunge stamps, one inked and the other embossed with white EP. I removed the cement with an eraser when I had finished. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
Only three this week... I've been occupied with cleaning and finishing our conservatory which has just had the top part replaced... a somewhat protracted process as the roof didn't fit the first time! We have had a tarpaulin over it for a couple of weeks whilst new glass was made! Hopefully all is well now... just a few remedial things to be sorted and we'll be there!
I also put up our Christmas tree, for its 38th year! It's doing really well!
Have a good week everyone!
Wow! fabulous colors Chrissie.... you used it so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThis was the first year in a long time I had to put up the Christmas tree all by myself :( No fun without my 2 girls... only a week before they are home for Christmas though!
Fabulous cards, stunning colours and stand out designs!

ReplyDeleteThree fabulous inspirational cards Chrissie, love the snowman. Carol x
ReplyDeleteChrissie your cards are stunning as expected and I adore the bird one. How you put those together so quickly amazes me. You tree is beautiful too and perfectly coordinated. You've given me the push to get mine sorted but probably next weekend. Sarah xx
ReplyDeleteJust love this snowman! I too think I might have to have this! :)
ReplyDeleteQuick question: Did you use MFT stitched rectangles dies on this card? I've been wanting to purchase a stitched rectangle die set, but noticed on the MFT site (went there after seeing your card!) that the largest die in this set measures 4 1/2" x 3 1/4". That means it would be 1/2" from each side. I would prefer to have only 1/8" from the sides of the card. Just curious if your card is an A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") or something else...
Thanks so much! LOVE all of your posts and always look forward to getting them!
I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite from your fabulous cards, Chrissie. That snowman is unusual to say the least, but I love him and all his sparkle. And the birds. I love birds and these are adorable with your wonderful background inking.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful and special. The card with high heels is awesome. :-)
