Popularity for One Layer Cards

It seems to me that the appearance of Clean and Simple and One  Layer Cards in challenges around Blogland is on the increase. I would love to think that in some part it's due to the influence that our challenge site "Less is More", is having... but this may merely be wishful thinking! We're so grateful for its popularity in any case.
Here is a One Layer Card made by masking and sponging colour (Adirondack Caramel and Cranberry inks) using  sponge daubers and then over printing, both before and after the masks have been removed.
The stamp set used is Stampin' Up's French Foliage... I simply love it.
Yesterday the washing machine was doing trojan service after the suitcases had been emptied of laundry from our holiday. Ironing awaits!

Wow hun this is fabulous - great colours! I am sure that your challenge blog has indeed contributed to the explosion of CAS cards etc in Blogland. Sorry I haven't been able to play recently - just don't know where the time goes to but I will be back just as soon as I get organised!! (don't hold your breath for that one will you - could be dangerous!! LOL)

  4. Oh this is gorgeous Chrissie and yes you do have to share the blame for all the CAS that have appeared in blogland.
Even a die hard like me has to give them a go too.

  9. Gorgeous card - love the colours! I think your challenge hit blog land just as I was thinking some of these fussy multi-layered cards were like eating several king sized mars bars. The first one I saw was okay, but any more and I felt a bit ill!!! Thank you (and Mandi too) for giving CAS the promotion it needed. But what food should we relate it to? Shortbread maybe? or one Thornton's chocolate?

  10. This is gorgeous Chrissie, love the colours. I've certainly become more comfortable with OL cards and find they go hand in hand with CAS so well and this is definitely due to the LIM challenges so thank you :)
