My Time to Craft - On the Spot

I love this image by Dustin Pike, which is perfect for a get well well card following an accident. I just used one for a member of our choir who took a bad tumble whilst skiing and broke his hip. His wife always said he went too fast!
So here is the spotty old dinosaur again, (the image, not the choir member) for the challenge of On the Spot, from My Time to Craft.
Not only is the image spotty, but so is the paper, which is a digi download from Cuddly Buddly, called Fairy Fun - Willow. It really is a lovely shade. I coloured him with my Copics and mounted the image on Nesties.
I'm also entering it into the Challenge from Charisma Cardz, whose theme this week is Animal Magic
The Spellbinder tag has 10mm ribbon slits and I didn't have any ribbon of a suitable colour in the appropriate width, so I used two narrower ones and overlapped them slightly to go through the holes and then opened them out to be side by side at the edges. I quite like the effect and I shall probably be trying that again sometime!
Do join in the fun with our challenge this week!

  1. Hi Chrissie! Thanks for coming to my blog and for your lovely comments. Geraldine is very near to Timaru - a very popular spot for crafters too! I'm so glad you liked NZ and I do hope you come back soon. We have lots in common - I love singing in a choir (my fave was my university choir in Cambridge - CUMS) and am a teacher. ;-)
