A trio of cards

I saw the challenge of April Showers at Ooh La la Challenge blog today and thought of this little chap by Dustin Pike. I love his images and this is no exception.
The sentiment and backing paper are from Cuddly Buddly. The layout is rather simple, but I think it works.
Sophisticat's Challenge is Raining Cats & Dogs so this will qualify for that challenge too!

This second card uses the sketch from Clean and Simple this week. Again, the paper is a download from Cuddly Buddly and the sentiment is from Unity Stamps. The paper pieced flower uses a cheapy 99p stamp from Hobbycraft.I'm adding this last one to the challenge of Just Girls from Stempeltraume's challenge and for Stamp Something's challenge of Pink. In fact it is the card that was on my WOYWW this morning and is for my granddaughter to give to her friend Freya at her princess party on Saturday. It's covered in Glitter from top to bottom, so hopefully will appeal to a 2 year old! I think that the stamp is Woodware, but the packaging from the set of clear stamps has long since departed. The letters are cut from Cuttlebug's Olivia alphabet. The crown edging was done with a Martha Stewart set of border punches.
