365 Cards Day 162 Super Sketchy Sunday & Use It #22

My daughter and family have just left and although we ADORE having them to stay, both Phil & I breathe a huge sigh of relief to have the house back to ourselves again. I know why people have children when they're young... they wear you out... but Daisy is SUCH a poppet.
This card combines 2 challenges. The sketch from 365 Cards plus the recipe from Use it, which is
1. A new Technique (I copied June, whose challenge it is this week, and twice cut a Nestie label die to create a new shape.)
2. To use a virgin stamp. (this ginkgo leaf arrived yesterday.. another eBay purchase)
3. To use a paper I haven't used before. (I've been waiting for a stamp to use with this paper, so now I have the stamp, the two go together well)
I offer unequivocal apologies if I have mis-oriented the paper and the small set of characters are upside down or sideways.
I am off now to meet friends for lunch then spend the rest of the afternoon watching Hampshire play cricket at the Rose Bowl . Let's hope they do slightly better than England are faring at the moment.

  11. It's a lovely stamp - now you'll be reluctant to use the paper up as it's made such a great card!
If you're relatively near the Rose Bowl, we're relatively, geographically close!

  17. Chrissie, your new stamp does coordinate perfectly with your paper. I like the cool layer you created by rotating your top note die :)
