A simple die cut with additional flower heads added...the sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
This one is not quite so clean and simple having a layered base but the elephant (Memory Box) is standing in a little white space!
I love this Penny Black border die... the paper is just a snippet from the scrap drawer, which I think is from Cuddly Buddly. The sentiment is from Penny Black too.
The challenge this week from Less is More is a colour one and those chosen are blue and brown, a lovely combo I think!
Absolutely adorable and chic Chrissie. I was trying to see if that panel behind the elephant was brusho but it's not obvious if it is??? Love the delicate die-cuts you've used and hopefully after last weekend I might also be on more of a delicate dies choice mode!!! hahaha! Have a fab week. Sarah xx
ReplyDeleteThese are so fab Chrissie. The first one feels wonderfully fresh and I love the unusual lettering of the sentiment. The elephant card is so pretty, and you've definitely left more white space than I do so let's say no more about it!! The background looks great with the squiggles and those little hearts coming out over it. Have an amazing holiday this week!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Blue and Brown go together so well. Beautiful cards - love the CAS-ness of the first and the elephant trumpeting hearts in the second. Have a good weekend. x
ReplyDeleteReally lovely cards Chrissie and the elephant is just so cute :) . Am still pondering over blue and brown here - hmmmm.

ReplyDeleteI really love the flower card, Chrissie - beautifully CAS! Your elephant is so cute too. Great inspiration for this week's colour combo :)
ReplyDeleteLove your classic simplicity of the floral but that elephant is adorable! Perfect choice of papers and what a cute diet edge you used.

Two adorable designs.

Blue and brown are my husband's High School colours! But I didn't choose a rugby jumper for this challenge - I was inspired by your beautiful die cut stem and flowers, instead:)
ReplyDeleteFab duet of cards this week Chrissie. Love the elegance of the first but you little ellie has stolen my heart as it is so cute with such pretty paper too. Sorry I am so late visiting this week but it has been an absolute nightmare as far as time goes.
ReplyDeleteTwo very different cards and a great use of these colours, Chrissie. Love the clean modern feel of your first and the brown hearts work so well with the blue elephant theme x
ReplyDeleteSuch a simple, elegant sympathy card, and the baby card is so cute. Elephants are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully crisp CAS cards Christie. My fave is the cute elephant - then again I love the simplicity of the first too! X
