I love this new baby stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Here it's in neutral-ish tones of duck egg, vanilla and brown, with a backdrop embossed with a folder from SU which reminds me of a baby blanket.
It's for the colour challenge at As You see it!
I am to be a granny again for the third time in August and we are all keeping everything crossed that all goes well this time, as the path to parenthood for my son and his wife has been strewn with pain and heartache.
I'm sure you'll wish them well!
This is such a wonderful card. The embossing folder does indeed look like a blanket and that little row of sweet hearts helps tie the colours together so well. It's a great set that I've not seen before - it looks to be one that will get lots of future use! All the best for your next grandchild. Thanks for joining us at At You See It this week.

ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful baby card, Chrissie, and you've really taken the colour challenge inspiration picture to heart with it! I miss that embossing folder as it always reminded me of a blanket as well! All the best for the birth of your grandchild. I'm expecting a grandchild in a few weeks and I know how devastating that path can be, so I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for playing along this week with As You See It Challenges.

ReplyDeleteOoooh! The details! I love that you took the inspiration photo and used it as inspiration along with the colours. Thanks so much for playing with us this week (and your patience while we dealt with our glitches) :)
