Swing right!
This drawer contains my sets of Cuttlebug alphabet dies.(Plus a few other 6x2 dies) I use these a lot for the personalisation of cards. They are particularly popular for people who have different or unusual spellings of their names. I know that some recipients have been delighted to have a personalised card for the first time in their lives as these cannot be easily purchased commercially. I usually use the Olivia set for the initials on my personalised Wedding Invitations. It has become a bit of a signature for me. Scroll down my blog for an example!
This drawer could do with a little reorganisation. I'm not really sure what is the best way to store dies. This contains a variety of makes so they don't fit into exactly identical spaces.
Join in the fun (WOYWW link on my sidebar) come and have a snoop with the rest of us!
You have such clever stuff - I don't even know what half of it is/does!! I just know you make gorgeous cards with it all!
ReplyDeleteGoodness those cuttlebug dies are so neatly organised! Your desk looks very productive too, I love the wedding cards you have made they are very pretty. Have a lovely week. Tracey x
ReplyDeleteI'm with Twiglet on this one Chrissie. Your cards are always stunning but alas I wouldn't know what to do with a lot of the clever stuff you use.

Looking at all the dies and letter sets you have I have realised how little stuff I have for cardmaking, although I spend every cent I have on cardmaking goodies! Ha, ha I guess I need to do more shopping! I love your cards so keep up the good work!

Hi Chrissie thanks so much for showing your cuttlebug alpha dies I just remembered I bought all the alphabets a couple of years ago and havent had them out for ages .... now just think I'd never have remembered if I hadn't looked in your drawers today !! lol
ReplyDeleteJokes aside they are lovely dies aren't they and I like it that some have words and other bits on too.
Thanks for the info on Lakeland last week I did mean to come back and thank you but the weeks gone so blooming quick
Well have fun

Your cuttlebug die storage has given me food for thought because I'm really not happy with how I have mine stored at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your space
Wow Chrissie, that's a lot of dies! I hope you have insurance for your craft room, cause I'd hate to have to replace all that stuff!! I've had it in my mind to try and oriental card for months, even bought some nice paper and a stamp set, I often get them out and put them on my desk, but it never goes any further than that!

ohoho I love your die draws...no...I love your dies!! I have a few in a shoe box...(cardboard box?) and loads of lovely Copic pens...I can't get on with the 'snail trail glue'...never seems to stick for me. And I spy a Woodward flower punch, I have that one, but have I ever made anything with it that I've posted?? I can't remember! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteYou lucky thing letter dies are one of the things on my wish list! Hugs Pam
ReplyDeleteUrm good old dies. They are great till you have to store them. I have a cuttlebug folder... yes, can't fit alot in them.. got loads of folders in, and a few dies and thats me lot.. now spaced out all over the shot!
ReplyDeleteAs for PUSH BACK .. I would go for push off, not much room to push back there, lol
If you’re having trouble organizing your dies Chrissie, send some over to me and I’ll look after them in some of mine for you! (Had to be worth a try Lol)
ReplyDeleteI rather like the look for that boxed set of sentiments as well so if you need a home for them too, I’m your gal!

You look very organised Chrissie!
ReplyDeleteLove your desk, looks so organised...and those dies...are to die for :O)
ReplyDeleteI make space on my table by shoving it all aside. Unfortunately, some times it falls off the table and on to the floor. But that does give me more room!
ReplyDeleteAll I can think is that everything looks so tidy. You may not think it, but it is, really it is!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a lot of the cuttlebug dies yet - I've a couple but mostly embossing folders. I'll have to see about getting more dies, looks like you have plenty to work with.
ReplyDeleteLove how you have your Copics at hand ...and wow to all those Cuttlebug dies.
ReplyDeleteI spy with my little eye ..... some great stamps! AND, what a collection of dies!!!! ikki
ReplyDeleteI think Olivia is my fave too..You can't do a push back Chrissie - your pens will be buried!
ReplyDeleteI want a colour chart diary thing like what you have got ... it makes you look really organised ... wonder if it will do the same for me!
ReplyDeleteLove your alpha dies - think you have to be very patient to use these but they do give a lovely personal touch. Note to self: have more patience!! Your copic pens called to me too!! Juliex
ReplyDeletegoodness me - you've got enough dies there haven't you!!! Love your envelope making chart though - where did you get that from?
ReplyDeleteAwe is it wrong to say Chrissie showed me what's in her drawers and I'm jealous lol
ReplyDeleteyour desk looks very neat
