Truly Scrumptious Sketch Challenge
Yet another of these fabulous digi-images from Chris Dark. This time for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge. A slightly odd combination of colours, but somehow I think that they just about work.
The ribbon is a pretty good match for the green background paper and the lime green seems to pick up the colour from the backing paper. As I didn't reduce the size of the image too much, I decided to cut it out and overlap the square mount. I coloured it with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a water brush.
The sentiment is from Unity Stamps, and the additional blooms are from an X Cut punch with a few random Cuttlebug die centres.

I like the way the design overlaps the frames, works really well and pink and green always work well together in my opinion. You're certainly getting some use out of Chris Dark, must investigate the links and see if anything there for me to have a go with!
ReplyDeleteLeft you a little something on my blog
