First Christmas Cards

I was asked to make a couple of Christmas cards for some little people's first Christmas!
This one uses a Day for Daisies image which I think is an absolute cutie.  It's coloured with Mirage Pens and gently twinkled with Glamour Dust. The background is embossed with a Sheena Douglass folder and the mistletoe is from a Sizzlet die.
Time out Challenge - Embossing with the optional twist of sparkle
For this one I used a Lili  of the Valley image which I altered slightly to change the beanie hat into a Santa hat. I masked off part of the stamp before inking and after stamping drew the tail and bobble on the hat with a black fine pen. It's coloured  with Mirage pens. The embossing on this one is from a Sizzix folder.

    oh my goodness Chrissie, these are so adorable. I love the EF on the first card-it is all grungy and you matched it with such a cute and fluffy image-love the contrast. So very pleased you shared with us at Time Out

    These cards are so sweet, Chrissie! Love the pink shimmer on the first and the way you customised the hat on the second. The embossed backgrounds add great texture too. So glad you joined us at Time Out :)
