I love uncomplicated sketches as sometimes cards can end up looking overloaded. This one from Stamps and Smiles, The Perfect Batch, is just great. The colours are the chosen ones from Stamp Something this week and by using pale shades of them I have entered this card for the Perfect Pastels from Papertake.
The Dutch Dare Challenge, one that I have only just discovered, asks for favourite things. There are several on this card! I think that of all the Cuttlebug embossing folders, Swiss Dots is my very favourite. I'm also particularly fond of the punch from L-Em.com which I used for the leaves. It's very robust and the leaves look so delicate. I've ordered another which hopefully will arrive today, with slightly larger sprays of leaves.
Curiously one of my very, very favourite things which I used on this card can't be seen! I have discovered sheets of very thin double-sided adhesive, which I put onto paper BEFORE punching so that all I have to do is to punch and peel off the backing, before sticking to my project. The sheets are 12"x12" so would be perfect for scrapbookers too. I bought mine in my local 'The Range' store. I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone!
4 in 1 are ytou mad, lol
