I thought that I would make a card for the challenge at AAA Cards.
I didn't exactly time myself making this, but it was quite quick. It would have been slightly quicker if I had stuck to my original idea of using a die cut for the sentiment, but once cut, I realised that it was way too big for the composition. SO back to the drawing board and a quick computer generated sentiment tailored to the die I wanted to use to mount it.
I make my computer sentiments in Word and if I set the zoom to 105%, the size I see on my screen is the exact size of a sheet of A4. SO if I write the sentiment, hold the die I want to use against the screen, I can see if it will create the effect I'm after. The size I see, is the size it will be printed.
Just Us Girls - Summer
That's lovely - so simple yet so complete. A real breath of summer.

ReplyDeleteGreat idea on the computer generate sentiment! I bought a tag set for my Silhouette so I can create tags any size based on the sentiment I want to use... same but opposite! Your card says summer for sure! Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
