We have a simple
One layer Challenge
at
this week.
Practically every month someone either forgets the one layer part or the actual theme for the card, which this time is a Favourite Flower. This time I remembered both!
I particularly love spring flowers, they always seem so fresh and new,.. a promise of things to come. Here is a favourite stamp of a favourite flower of mine... the tulip... from Stampin' Up.
It was simply coloured with water colour pencils, blended with a water brush and glazed with a layer of Glossy Accents... apart from the newspaper that is.
I don't think it needs any more!
Love this Chrissie! One of my favourite stamps too.

That's a beautiful card, Chrissie. Love that stamp and the glossy touches. You're right, it needs nothing else :) xx
ReplyDeleteWell done Chrissie for remembering one layer week! Love your card. The blended watercolour pencils have given a really attractive tone to the tulips. It's a lovely stamp - I can see it being suitable for all sorts of cards. Very versatile. Fab card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super sentiment to match the pretty tulips Chrissie. I agree, the glossy accents were all this card needed to make it perfect. Beautiful water colouring, as always. xx
