Happy Christmas

The recipe at Less is More this week is Drinks!
I don't knoe where we got some of these titles from, but they sure can make us think!
Here are some that I came up with.

This is an image from the SU Cheers to you set, gently coloured and twinkled with Glamour dust then framed by an asymmetric cut-out layer.
More Stampin' Up here, details are on the LIM blog!

The liquid in these was coloured with a Sakura Clear Star Gel pen!

The one on the left has some very wayward stitching on it... I took the corners on two wheels I think! I must practise sewing on card! The stamp is a rather large Art Impression stamp, heat embossed in silver!
Details of the one on the right are also on the LIM blog.
Here's a fun one using one of my favourite chicken stamps from Penny Black. These girls look as though they know how to party!
Finally another SU stamp from the Studio Sketches retired set. Memory Box trellis and a Martha Stewart Border punch.
This year is the first year that I can remember when I won't have to cook the Christmas lunch. We've been invited to our son's MIL to have lunch with them in Worthing. I'm really looking forward to it!
Our grandkids will be arriving on Boxing Day... should be fun!
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!

  13. I couldn't wait to play in this challenge and am so glad it was a two-weeker. Your cards, Chrissie, are just too spectacular! I think it says a lot about a girl that she has so many drinkie card options, one more better than the one before!!

BTW, I missed last week and so I don't want to leave without wishing you and your Mister a happy belated anniversary and many more!!

Sending you best wishes for a happy and healthy new year!! Darnell

  16. Good morning Chrissie,
sorry that I have not yet commented on your wonderful cards but time is something that I don't know to tame. How very often, and just over the holidays, it was again too fast for me.
I admire again and again, how many great ideas you have for the Challenges. Always so many different cards on a subject, you are really very creative!
Also on the topic of "Drink" your cards are again very beautiful and different. Love everyone.
The cup has inspired me a lot but I have found the solution just at the last moment.

I wish you a Happy New Year and only the best for 2013. Love happiness and health all around the year..... and much creative time for crafting.

    Rosi x
