Autumn is here!
Yesterday we went to visit our daughter in Bath and the trees en route were turning beautiful shades of yellow, hopefully the reds and browns will soon appear. I love this time of year... crisp days and bright sunshine... wonderful.
The theme at "Less is More" is just this...
Autumn.
Here are a few cards inspired by this theme!
Simple inking and overstamping.
Autumn Splendour from Stampin' Up.
What a great stamp set.
This one is for the Simon Says Stamp Autumn Leaves Challenge
This one was inspired by Birgit a superb crafter and loyal "Less is More" Participant. The tree die is by Memory Box!
Here's another pic from our recent cruise to Hawaii. We had an amazing time. I just love cruising!
I still need to lose the pounds gained by the fabulous food on board!
Hey Ho!

ReplyDeleteAnd you don't seem to have a single pound too much on you

ReplyDeleteAll these cards are beautiful. I particularly like the one with the scored background. At first glance I had no idea how you had done it but it is the perfect base for your stunning leaf.

Beautiful cards, Chrissie. All so different with great techniques on each of them.

I just got your comment about Mandi only being gone this week. That's great news! But, well, if anyone was going to misunderstand, that would be me. Doesn't every family have a "confused" child?!
ReplyDeleteI'll edit my post so I don't confuse others; thanks for straightening me out, AGAIN!
BTW, you and your Mister are an incredibly handsome couple. If I were that cruise company, I'd pay you to use that photo in my adverts! And I'm not just whistlin' Dixie!
Gorgeous cards Chrisse and a gorgeous picture. You both look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards - love them all. Such great colours!

ReplyDeleteWow! Four gorgeous cards this week! I LOVE the inking on the first card! I think my second favorite is the last card....just love that frame and the gorgeous die cut!! Do you buy pre-folded cards, or un-cut card stock for your cards? I LOVE the texture on the paper - it looks like watercolor paper, and I've never seen it sold except in pads of "drawing" paper.
ReplyDeletewonderful cards as always, I really like the first one.
