Well here's a little trick I discovered which avoids that.
Instead of using the sandwich of base A plate, embossing folder plus card and 2 B plates, I use
- the base A plate,
- then the folder with the card inside,
- a tan embossing mat
- C plate.
You get a really crisp emboss and NO LINES!
Another cunning plan!
Thanks Chrissie, I'll make a note of this one! xx
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure I should be able to achieve the same with my big shot - thanks for the tip

I'll definitely try this, I tend to stay away from the smaller folders for exactly that reason!
ReplyDeleteChrissie - I LOVE your cunning plan! I have almost given up on using the emb. folders in my CB as they always leave those horrible lines. I will definitely try this out - thanks so much for sharing.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to be negative but for those of us that use a Big Kick or a Big Shot is the tan mat the soft rubber mat......??? I believe ya'll A plate is our base plate and ya'll C plate are our clear plates......
