Rhapsody of roses

I've had this set of Penny Black clear stamps for quite some time but used it infrequently. However, I thought of it immediately when I saw the theme of the current challenge, Rhapsody of |roses, from My Time to Craft.
I distressed and inked the edges to give it a vintage feel, but I'm not brilliant at this kind of look.
The paper is from My Mind's Eye and the scalloped edge was made with  an EK Success border punch.
My friend asked if I would like to go for  a 'Health Walk'with her today. I think it's an organised walk which would have been great of it wasn't blowing a hoolie today. I think the clap of thunder settled it. Maybe next time!
DO join in with our challenge at MTTC we'd love to see your creations!

  1. Chrissie that is gorgeous and that stamp looks really good.
Sorry about the walk but it doesn't sound too good does it? As you say perhaps another day.

  4. Beautiful vintage look to your card Chrissie and perfect for the rhapsody of Roses. I like the look of vintage with a little bit of modern to your card. Your image is coloured beautifully and the lace finishes it off well.
