I find it enormously flattering to be chosen rather than having to apply in the usual way. SO watch out tomorrow and Friday for the first of these guest spots. There are the remains of some of the projects I've been getting ready on my desk... but of course you can't see them...yet!
One card is slightly different dimensions from the norm and so I can make the envelope for it with my Enveloper Pro. I used to make all my own envelopes at one time but now I tend to buy stock sizes. The board comes with instructions for lots of different sizes, but I've worked out a few extras for myself.
Here are a few more cards on the pile which need envelopes making for them.I find it quite a relaxing occupation, but it palls slightly if I have to make too many!
Have a great Wednesday, and do join in with the global snoop of workdesks via our leader Julia (link on my sidebar).
As I've said before Chrissie it doesn't surprise me at all that you get to be asked to be a guest designer. You work is always so special. Congratulations.

Hey Chrissie
ReplyDeleteI am not at all surprised that you have been asked to be a guest designer. You are one of the most talented crafters i visit... I love your style and wish i could emulate it.
I've not been keeping up with posts via dashboard again, i keep having these lapses, but I will be making more effort to do so. So I'll be back to check out all of your stunning cards over the coming days... knowing you, i've got dozens to catch up with...
Anyway, I hope your daughter is doing well.... and you too.
take care

I love the Christmas cards! I really need to start on mine! Thanks for the blog comment and I totally agree that those little wooden tables from IKEA are soo useful!
ReplyDeleteRach (84) xx
You should be smug, very deserved invitations in my opinion. And I always have an opinion! I loathe the envelope chore, and am too lazy these days. Your Chrissie cards are gorgeous. Oh I know, it's a very little joke, but I like it!
