365 Cards Day 163 Try a Technique - Masking ~ Card Patterns Sketch #27 ~ OCC - Harvest Inspiration & Crafty Cardmakers - Flowers
I love the rich colours of this card. The inspiration came from OCC where a couple of lovely rural harvest pictures were illustrated. The sketch is from Card Patterns and the technique of masking is today's challenge from 365 Cards. Crafty Cardmakers is a new challenge blog and Flowers is the title of their inaugural challenge.
I used two stamps for this card, the daisy is from Hobbycraft and the leaf from Kodomo Inc.
The gold daisy was the first to be printed and a mask cut to print the other two. I had to make a second mask in order to stamp the leaf as it appears from behind two of the flowers.
They were coloured with a mixture of Pearly Paints and Perfect Pearls.
The sentiment is from Unity Stamps. The immediate backing paper is Core'dinations embossed with Cuttlebug Stylised Flowers embossing folder and lightly sanded.
A few accents with Glitz It Sparkles in gold surround the petals.
