Friday Sketchers #37 & Our Creative Corner - Hearts

I had a bit of fun messing around with this one, however when it came to the time to stick on the final elements I had real problems getting them to stick!!
I think that with all the chalking and inking, any kind of glue was having a hard time of it. I used double sided tape, Pritt stick, a glue pen and another glue pen which has a slightly different function... repositionable or permanent. All of them had problems.
Does anyone have the answer for this sticky situation?
Laura Ashley and free download papers, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Quickutz swirls, Nesties ovals. I used a Spellbinder tag, but shortened it, buy putting it through a second time, moved up a bit to chop off the end, and then embossed it with my tan mat. The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

  2. Hi Chrissie,

Wonderful card, you can see how much work has gone in to it.

I find if I have chalked or glittered anything, the best thing to stick is glue dots!?!? It usually works for me!

  4. What a brill card Chrissie, I just love the colours and layout. No ideas about the glue, I usually used narrow d/s tape and extra wide for small items cut on the bug, a tip that thankfully you gave me.

  6. Fab card Chrissie, beautiful colours and layout. I love that embossing and chalking too!
You could try silicone glue, I find it sticks anything and I use it loads. You can paste it flat, it doesn't have to be a raised blob! xx
