Chevrons and Sequins and Autumn

No stamping on this one!
I simply cut the chevron/zig zags with dies from Dienamics, from some manuscript and black card. The sentiment is a die from Papertrey and the cat was cut on my Silhouette! He looks very interested in the music!
A few sequins were added and that's about it!
The components are from the challenge at CASual Fridays!
This is a simple thanks card using leaf stamps from Technique Tuesday. They were inked with a variety of colours of Distress inks and then when allowed to dry a little, the colour was pulled over the images merely using a water brush. They were stamped on their relevant shapes cut on the Silhouette. The sentiment die is from Simon Says Stamp.
It's for the Autumn/Fall challenge at Addicted to CAS

  1. Love both of your cards, Chrissie! I think it was so clever to use the musical notes die, and paired with the cat...it's fabulous! Love the black & white color palette, too!
I will have to try your technique with inks and a water brush...the colors on your leaves are quite beautiful!

  9. Great placement of all the elements on your first card! Your eye really follows a clear path from the cat's eyes, to the 2 sequins, back via the zig-zag, and finally to the sentiment. Love it. Thanks for joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge, Chrissie!
