Back in the summer, I saw a pair of rabbits like this on someone's blog and thought that they looked terrific. I managed to get the pattern for them and my daughter thought that they were super too. When she was staying with us we went to get the necessary fabric and notions which have been sitting in the bag since then. I thought I'd try to get them made to give to Daisy and Seb (my grandchildren) for Christmas.
Well... here they are!
Last year at my daughter's request, I made a knitted Miss Mouse for Daisy and she was somewhat underwhelmed with it... it will be interesting to see their reactions to these little guys!
I think they're cute anyway!
Oh you are clever Chrissie, these are so beautifully made. I remember your mouse which was also gorgeous. No doubt your grandaughter preferred something pink, sparkly and plastic if she's anything like my niece.
ReplyDeleteThey're just FABULOUS

ReplyDeletethey look fab Chrissie and look quite at home sitting by your piano K x
ReplyDeleteThey're gorgeous, Chrissie - if they don't get a good reception, they'd look good in any room in the house, lol - and any older 'girl' would be thrilled to have them, I'm sure. Hope they're appreciated x
ReplyDeleteThey are very cute, Chrissie, and even if they are not loved now, they will be in years to come. I still have the bears my Nan made for me and they have been well loved by my daughter too.
ReplyDeleteI'd say they'd go down well, but then again they don't use batteries, flash & make a noise... but they are made with love so I think you may just have hit on the secret magic ingredient to their success! Jx
ReplyDeletePS thanks for the comment on my card, were the music notes up the right way - they looked upside down to me, but I know the right way up of a treble clef & I know it's at the start so I went with the way I used. (Thanks for your help & I'll enter again)
They are sooo adorable, sure they will be well received.
ReplyDeleteOh adorable, gorgeous bunnies Chrissie.

Hullo there Chrissie I did smile at your comment on my blog - funny thing I thought of it as I embossed it and thought I was being clever by marking the top then trimmed it a bit more and bit more and by the time I fiddled another ten times I had forgotten all about - so there you are - think I put it upside down more often than not - I am back the front kid my dad always says! No worries! thanks for being a blessing to me through 2011.
ReplyDeleteAll the blessings of the season as we celebrate the birth of the dear Lord Jesus and the greatest gift of all, love Shaz in oz. x
