"Less is More" Lucky Dip ~ Thank You or Congratulations

I don't know about you but I thought that the wedding yesterday was a superb example of good old British organisation, history, pomp at the culmination of an eight year romance!
I watched all day until about 2.30pm when I picked up my son and daughter-in-law on completion of their sailing course and then we watched it all again, as I'd been recording it too!
I loved it!
Here is my card for this week's challenge at "Less is More". A thank you card using gilding flakes. I love this medium and you can see how  did it on the challenge blog!
This Congratulations card is such a simple one... a Stampin' Up image which I really love and a little bit of a Martha Stewart border peeping between the image and the sentiment!
Anyway I must cook some breakfast for the kids!
More anon!

  18. Chrissie, love both of your cards...but I really love the look of the first one. I love the elegance of it. I'm not sure what gilding flakes are, but they sure make a pretty card! Thanks for the tip about taping off the part of the sentiment! That could come in handy! Have a great week!

  20. Hi Chrissie
Watched the Royal Wedding with mixed emotions. The couple are made for each other there is no doubt, i did get a small moment of sadness when i saw William do the look his mother Diana used to do when she was with her children and happy. Brought back a few sad memories but overall it was a most glorious day, celebrated with style and elegance. Glad you enjoyed it too...

Both your cards are fab this week, like both for different reasons but i always love black cards, they always look so elegant and luxurious to me. I need to get a couple of border punches but want the ones that will cut through cardstock and not just paper. Off to do some research.

Thanks as always for your fab comment and i am glad you liked at least one of the cards:-)
